Are ILIA products dairy-free?Updated 5 months ago
ILIA Beauty certifies that based on our ingredient suppliers’ documents, our facility does not use any dairy-derived ingredients in the manufacture of ILIA’s finished good products. We do use Lactic Acid in other formulations, but this ingredient is actually sourced from non-dairy ingredients, i.e. plant based.
All in all, we cannot claim to be a 100% dairy-free facility since it is not always a guarantee of the supplier chain being completely free of dairy. All we can do is go based on the Food Allergen statements the ingredient suppliers provide to us, and do our due diligence with the cleaning / sanitization process, where we ensure to clean and sanitize all equipment used from a previous production run before proceeding to the next project in both compounding and filling phases.
