Are ILIA products clean, natural, and organic?Updated 5 months ago

ILIA thoughtfully formulates without gluten, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, mineral oil, talc, BHA/BHT, propylene glycol, PEG, cyclomethicones, and chemical screens. We are also cruelty-free and certified by Leaping Bunny. 

All of our products are a hybrid of natural and organic ingredients, active botanicals and safe synthetics. We have always used safely-selected synthetic ingredients and look to a multitude of research and consult with chemistry and regulatory experts to inform which ones are proven to be safest for humans and the environment. 

We are committed to transparency so we disclose all ingredients and derivatives in our ingredient lists, which is not a requirement in the U.S. We will continue to educate further on why we believe not every natural ingredient is good for the skin, and not every synthetic is bad.
